چکیده

With the undeniable advance of automated vehicles and their gradual integration in day-today urban traffic, many new technologies have been developed that offer great potential for this emerging field research. However, testing vehicle real road traffic with vulnerable users (VRUs) is still a complicated time consuming procedure. The virtual development evaluation using simulation tools offers good opportunity to test functions efficiently. existing models prove be insufficient modeling interaction between autonomous such as bicyclists pedestrians. In paper, an model microscopic open-source software Simulation Urban Mobility (SUMO) evaluated common scenarios bicyclists. A controller proposed different path-finding algorithms from robotic research, which covers all important control levels self-driving vehicle. Finally, its performance compared car-following lane-changing models. Results showcase achieves either comparable results or has much steadier more realistic driving behavior when while interacting whole source code over course work freely accessible at: https://github.com/FlixFix/Kimarite.

Autonomous Vehicle Simulation Project

As the vehicle technology grows rapidly in these days, the factors of practicable tests are increasing. However, it can be exposed to critical conditions to perform field tests with unverified implementations, since when error occurs while driving, directly leads to an unpredictable accident. For this reason, there are various simulators in the market to ensure the safety and provide various ki...

VASIC, RUSKIN: Discrete simulation model for traffic including bicycles on urban networks THROUGHPUT AND DELAY IN A DISCRETE SIMULATION MODEL FOR TRAFFIC INCLUDING BICYCLES ON URBAN NETWORKS

The 'greening' of transport is an ongoing concern in today's cities, with many struggling to reach carbon emission targets. One relevant area for effecting change is encouragement and facilitation of alternative, non-motorised transport modes, such as cycling and walking. Understanding the dynamics of non-motorised flows and their interaction with motorised traffic in an urban context is fundam...

Modelling of an Autonomous Amphibious Vehicle

This paper presents the modelling of an autonomous amphibious vehicle developed at the Australian Centre for Field Robotics, Sydney. All parts of the vehicle’s driveline from the engine, CVT, gearbox to wheels are analysed and modelled. Results from simulation, compared with data from characterising experiments, show that these models are valid and can be used for the control purpose. Keyword: ...

Polling-systems-based Autonomous Vehicle Coordination in Traffic Intersections with No Traffic Signals

The rapid development of autonomous vehicles spurred a careful investigation of the potential benefits of allautonomous transportation networks. Most studies conclude that autonomous systems can enable drastic improvements in performance. A widely studied concept is all-autonomous, collision-free intersections, where vehicles arriving in a traffic intersection with no traffic light adjust their...
